Environment: a commitment

Famat is a jointly-owned production facility of Snecma and General Electric, two major engine manufacturers.

Famat produces major structural parts for the CF6, CFM56, GE90 and GP7200 commercial engines that are manufactured by General Electric and Snecma.

Safety: a duty

Our goal is to communicate a real health & safety culture:

  1.     Awareness campaign for managers regarding respect of safety regulations

  2.     Employees are regularly reminded to respect safety regulations (individual safety equipments must be worn, risk areas…)

  3.     Reinforced communications: awareness campaign organized by the “Hand Clinic” (external medical organization)

  4.     Ergonomics trainings and evaluations at work station

  5.     Best practices / exchanges with Snecma & General Electric
